CIP is the executive body of Unicamp's Institutional Policy for Good Practices and Integrity in Research, instituted by Resolution CONSU-A-049/2020, of October 6, 2020, with the aim of promoting a culture of ethical integrity in research through educational, dissemination and guidance actions accessible to all researchers, in compliance with the international principles of receiving and investigating reports of misconduct and scientific malpractice.
It is also incumbent upon the CIP to welcome, evaluate and refer suspected cases of misconduct or malpractice in scientific research carried out by teaching and non-teaching staff, students or other categories involved in carrying out scientific research at Unicamp.
The Commission for Integrity in Research, linked to the Dean of Research, is composed of the following members (2022-2024 mandate) approved by the CCP Resolution 009/2022, representing the different areas of knowledge:
