Students

The PIBIC-EM program aims to integrate public high school students into scientific research activities, under the guidance of UNICAMP professors and researchers.

The program is valid for 12 months (September to August of the following year).

Students interested in participating in PIBIC-EM must seek the direction of their school. The school is responsible for selecting students and enrolling them in the program.

  • Participate in the PIBIC/UNICAMP Scientific Initiation Congress, presenting the final results of the research, through a panel exhibition, which allows verifying access to scientific methods and processes.
  • Request the cancellation or suspension of the scholarship, due to reasons for completing, withdrawing or abandoning the research project, leaving public school, completing high school, carelessness, impossibility of maintaining the workload, employment relationship, receiving another scholarship from any institution or development agency, illness, maternity and other reasons that justify the decision, authorized by UNICAMP.
  • Return to the institution, in updated amounts, the monthly fee/s unduly received, in the event of abandonment or withdrawal on its own initiative, without reason of force majeure, or for non-compliance with the requirements and commitments established in the Term of Commitment.
