FAPESP launches new call with GACR, from the Czech Republic

Selected projects may receive up to R$ 450 from FAPESP over three years. Proposals can be submitted in all areas of knowledge.

FAPESP and the Czech Science Foundation (GACR) announce a new call for proposals under the cooperation agreement between the institutions.

The call aims to support projects in all areas of knowledge, designed and executed jointly by researchers linked to higher education and research institutions in the state of São Paulo and researchers from research institutions in the Czech Republic. Only basic scientific research proposals should be submitted to this call.

Each proposal must present a joint project, with equivalent efforts and commitment to research from both teams and identical duration of the components under the responsibility of the team from the state of São Paulo and the Czech Republic. Approved projects are expected to start on January 1, 2024 and end within 36 months. The submitted research project must be written in English.

Researchers from the state of São Paulo must follow FAPESP's instructions for submitting proposals for Regular Research Grants, with the exception that the maximum duration allowed will be 3 years, with a limited budget of R$ 150 annually.

GACR has its own budget for this call. FAPESP will match the number of projects budgeted by GACR.
