The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation – Catalyzing Equitable Artificial Intelligence Use

Chamada seeks innovative and safe approaches to the use of LLM models in low- and middle-income countries.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Grand Challenges Partners seek proposals with equitable and responsible approaches to the use of AI and, specifically, of LLM models in low- and middle-income countries.

The foundation hopes to build an evidence base to ensure this technology improves the lives of the world's most vulnerable people. This call is an opportunity to identify, stimulate and catalyze the creativity, energy and skills that researchers, implementers, governments and partners have demonstrated in solving specific challenges, in their countries and regions, through LLM models.

The projects must be carried out within a period of 3 months and the funding amount is US$100. Proposals must be sent by June 05.
