Unicamp students participate in the Unesp IC Congress

Student of the Food Engineering course was awarded the Outstanding Guest Institutions award.

At the invitation of Unesp, students from Unicamp and USP participated in the second phase of the XXXV Unesp Scientific Initiation Congress, held between the 21st and 23rd of November, and whose central theme was: “Challenges in the production of knowledge: democratization and diversity”.

The five students nominated by Unicamp, selected among those awarded at the IC Congress 2022, competed in a specific category, in which student Marina Acuna Caldeira Junca, supervised by professor Douglas Fernandes Barbin (FEA), received the award for Outstanding Guest Institutions.

The Congress was attended by Unicamp's dean of research, professor João Marcos Travassos Romano, at the opening table and the presence of professor Angela Christina Lucas, PRP advisor. Professor Zigomar Menezes de Souza (FEAGRI) served as a member of the event's External Evaluation Committee and was responsible for the delegation of Unicamp students.
