Science & Art “Peoples of the Amazon” (CAPAm)

Projects aimed at indigenous, quilombola, riverine and extractivist students at UFPA must be submitted by November 24

Suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic, the program will receive again in 2023, at Unicamp, twenty undergraduate students from UFPA for the development of projects proposed by professors and researchers at the University.

The activities will be developed from January 17 to February 16, 2023 and provide for the participation of students in research projects designed for groups of five students and workshops for the group of twenty students.

The CAPAm program is a partnership between Unicamp, UFPA and Banco Santander, which aims to enable students from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) to have contact with academic life and with the professors, researchers and students who make up the university community of Unicamp.

CAPAm also aims to stimulate students' vocation for scientific and artistic research, presenting students with the current challenges of science and the environment of the University's research groups, involving them in the development of activities in the areas of arts, human sciences , exact and earth, biological and health sciences and technology.
