Conceived and conceived in the 90s, the Prize is awarded annually to people, from anywhere in the world, who have most distinguished themselves in the discovery or scientific progress that benefits the development and well-being of populations located below the 20th parallel of north latitude, especially Brazil, whether in terms of Health, Scientific & Technological Development, Food and Education.
In 2024, the Prize will be in the area of Science & Technology, with the aim of recognizing and rewarding works that contribute in a practical way to improving the lives of developing peoples.
Projects that meet the following criteria can compete for the Prize: indispensable criteria:
- Have already been developed and have consolidated results,
- Be innovative,
- Have practical application,
- Promote the improvement of the quality of life of populations located below the 20th parallel of north latitude.
The value of the prize is R$ 200 for the winner, R$ 30 for second place and R$ 20 for third place.
To participate, send to the Dean of Research (prp@unicamp.br) until 16/08/2023:
- Copy of the project;
- Candidacy form highlighting aspects of the work that justify nomination for the Prize.
The PRP will provide the Nomination Letter and the Nominating Institution Registration, documents necessary for the interested party must register by August 31, 2023, according to the Notice and Regulation available at www.fundacaopetemuranyi.org.br
