FAPESP announced this Wednesday (25/05) the launch of new Development Science Centers (CCDs) and Engineering Research Centers (CPEs).

Among the fifteen new CCDs announced, Unicamp will host three: the Center for Thromboembolic Diseases (Hemocentro), the Center for Studies on Urbanization for Knowledge and Innovation (FECFAU) and the São Paulo Center for Studies on Energy Transition (FEEC). The Institute of Biology will participate in the Technological Platform Center for Animal Health, to be installed at the Biological Institute of São Paulo.

FEEC/Unicamp will host the Smart Networks and Services for 2030 Research Center (Smartness), one of the three new Engineering Research Centers launched by FAPESP, and will participate in the Engineering Research Center for Future Air Mobility (CPE -MAF), headquartered at ITA.
