CI Voluntary

The objective of the Voluntary Scientific Initiation Program is to provide undergraduate students with learning the scientific method and techniques in their area of ​​expertise through the development of a research project, under the guidance of a research professor at UNICAMP. The UNICAMP Volunteer CI Program follows the same calendar and selection process as the traditional CI Program (PIBIC), however, in this modality, the student does not receive monthly scholarships.

Project Application

In the 1st stage of registration, the student must select the option “Voluntary Initiation (without scholarship)”.

Important: Professors and researchers (PQ career), active and with a Unicamp employment relationship, or Volunteer Professors / Researchers Collaborators (only retired Unicamp professors) may act as advisors.

In the 2nd stage of registration, the research project must be a PDF file with a maximum of 8 pages containing:

  2. Introduction
  3. Objectives
  4. Methods
  5. Schedule of activities
  6. References
  7. In the case of an external student (another institution), the academic record must be attached at the end of the project.

The registrations of the Lattes CVs of the Student and the Advisor are mandatory to send the application.
