PIBIC Award for Scientific Merit

At the end of the morning of this Wednesday (13th), the PIBIC Scientific Merit Award ceremony took place, which included the twenty best works exhibited during the 31st edition of the Unicamp Scientific Initiation Congress, held on the 25th, 26th and 27th of November at the Unicamp Convention Center and Gymnasium.

Obeying the proportionality of projects presented, the following were considered: one work in the area of ​​Arts, four in the area of ​​Humanities, seven in the area of ​​Biological, four in the area of ​​Exact Sciences and four in the area of ​​Technology, selected among almost a thousand projects that competed for the Award .

The selection of works took place in two stages, carried out by an Internal Committee and an External Committee, made up of teachers and researchers from all areas of knowledge, who took into account the originality and relevance of the work, the methodology used, the quality of writing, the structure and organization of the text and also the student's academic performance.

In addition to the works awarded the PIBIC Award for Scientific Merit, worth R$3.500, another twenty works were highlighted with the Certificate of Honorable Mention.
